Introduction

Namaskara /nɔ.mɔs.kaː.rɔ/

I’m Bishal Swain (ବିଶାଳ, 비살, 丕薩), /bi.ʃaːl/, and I recieved my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kumoh National Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Jaepil Ko. Recently, I have joined the same lab (lab website) as a postdoctoral researcher.

My research focuses on continual learning by taking modeling inspiration from the human brain, specifically hippo-cortical interaction. I aim to design systems that reason over data as an evolving sequence shaped by the past and present.

My goal is to build adaptive learning models that maintain stable and reliable performance across changing environments.
