Introduction

Namaskara /nɔ.mɔs.kaː.rɔ/

I’m Bishal Swain (ବିଶାଳ, 비샬), /bi.ʃaːl/, a fourth-year Ph.D. student at Kumoh National Institute of Technology, working under the supervision of Prof. Jaepil Ko in the Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition Lab (Lab Website).

I currently serve as Social Events Officer for the MICCAI Student Board.

My research focuses on computer vision, particularly on out-of-distribution generalization, segmentation, and domain adaptation problems. Currently, I work on medical histopathology and material SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) images.

I'm graduating in June 2026 and actively seeking job opportunities (postdoc/industry research roles).
